@HiMYSYeD All the muslim people fulfill the five pillars of Islam? Please an example to fulfill each one 🙂

@MariianitaParra First: Testifying that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah (God-Alone) & Muhammad (pbuh) is Allah's Last Prophet.
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@30masjids how each muslim testify or is only inside?
— mariana parra (@MarianaParraMM) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra The Shahada, can be said in private to oneself. It can be said in front of a group of other Muslims. It's a personal choice
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra Anyone says at least once in their life: There is No God but God-Alone & Muhammad (pbuh) is His Last Prophet. That's Enough
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra "Testifying" is 'To Bear Witness' in a Court of Law. 'Shahada' is a 'Spiritual' Testifying said at least ONCE in a Lifetime
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra Second: To offer prayers five times a day (alone or in congregation when possible) and in congregation on Fridays.
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra Third: To Pay Zakat, which is 2.5% of one's surplus wealth per year, on unused property like empty land or gold, to Charity
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@30masjids the third one is obligatory? If the person is not rich how to do the zakat?
— mariana parra (@MarianaParraMM) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra Zakat is compulsory on "Surplus" Wealth. If one is low-income or spends all money on family for example, No Zakat necessary
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra If one is poor OR if one has already paid their Zakat, they may give 'Voluntary' Charity, known as 'Sadaqa' in any amount.
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra Fourth: Fasting during Holy Month of Ramadan; abstaining from Food and Liquids from Dawn until Sunset for 29/30 days.
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@30masjids this fasting is only during the day or fasting day and nigth?
— mariana parra (@MarianaParraMM) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra Fasting is ONLY from Dawn until Sunset. NO Fasting during the night. One can eat and drink between Maghrib and Fajr Prayers
— HiMY SYeD (@30masjids) April 16, 2014
@MariianitaParra Fifth Pillar of Islam: To perform Hajj, Pilgrimage to Holy City of Makkah (Mecca) at least once in a lifetime, IF possible.
