March 30 2014 FacebookSalam all, heard of Doors Open Toronto? Masjid Toronto will be hosting an open house during that time and is looking for enthusiastic volunteers!
Doors Open is a city-wide event where certain buildings are open to the public for one weekend. This year, that weekend is May 24 and 25 and Masjid Toronto is one of 150 buildings selected to be part of the event.
Masjid Toronto was part of Doors Open in 2008 and 2009 and in each of those weekends, hundreds of non-Muslims visited the masjid, took tours, learned about Islam and spoke with our volunteers.
