Neighbors extending their appreciation for the thoughtful decision of Masjid Bilal admin not to broadcast the adhan publicly in-spite of city wide permission.

We're exposed to church bells throughout the country on a weekly basis; we're exposed to the so-called "holiday spirit" throughout the year not just from October-December — perhaps our neighbours should feel less threatened and consider the rights of everyone else in the city?

It is not as if the adhaan is broadcasted on WWII sirens across the entire city. Unless people have the sound sensitivity of dogs, this is not going to be heard throughout the city.

And what is that comment about hearing the call to prayer in their head day and night since the announcement? Just how fragile and threatened are you by your neighbours? From this alone you convey nothing about respect or tolerance.
