Doors Open Toronto is always the Last Weekend in May.
This year, DOT16, offers four very different Islamic or Muslim related locations who are opening their doors welcoming in The General Public:
- Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International
- Canadian Sufi Cultural Centre – Jerrahi Canada
- The Aga Khan Museum
- Ismaili Centre Toronto
The Dawah Centre & Jerrahi Canada, also opened their doors for DOT14:

Logistically, if you’re up for visiting all four locations, it makes sense to perhaps do it over two days.
The Aga Khan Museum and Ismaili Centre Toronto are literally next door to each other with a public Islamic Garden inbetween them.
Plan on visiting one, you may as well visit both.

The Dawah Centre is easily reached via TTC as the Dufferin Subway Station Exit is literally a few doors east of its 1168 Bloor Street West address.
They also are hosting Free Lectures by Shabbir Ally at 3 p.m. on both days:

Whatever your daytime DOT16 schedule works out to be, I’d strongly recommend you take advantage of visiting/returning to the Canadian Sufi Culture Centre in the evening on Saturday Night, May 28 2016.
The free program begins about 7 p.m. and lasts until midnight.
Stay as little or as long as you like.
The Jerrahi Sufis offer a (free) shared meal, discourse, mesk (sacred music), prayer and zikrullah (Remembrance). Their gatherings are open to the public and they welcome all people of diverse backgrounds and faiths.
If you ever wanted to see an actual Whirling Dervish, The DOT16 Saturday Evening is your opportunity.
