BUT,
As we all can imagine and expect,
Registration and booking are managed entirely by Peel Public Health. We are confident they will fix soon.
— Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) (@MACNational) April 27, 2021
The booking website crashed under the strain of so many people attempting to reach it all at once.
Peel Public Health (PPH) is responsible for the booking, managing and overseeing the distribution and administration of vaccines for their entire region and the MAC ICCO Popup vaccination clinic. They are currently experiencing higher than normal registration volume.

I felt an incredible about of frustration in even putting together this blog post,
Even when most of it is only selecting and embedding relevant tweets.
Why ?
Why is this Frustrating ?
Not only for me blogging,
but for every Peel Region Muslim trying secure their first vaccine dose,
Because . . .
أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُون
Do people think once they say,
“We believe,”
that they will be left without being put to the test ?
— Surah Al-`Ankabūt (The Spider), Qur’an 29:2
The vaccination booking at the MAC-ICCO was open to the general public and was available at the Peel vaccine booking site. The 7000 appointments were from different communities all over Peel region. However, we have seen overwhelming interest from the Muslim community.

CODA
MAC has applied to several public health units across the province to open popup vaccination clinics in 6 MAC centres. We are doing our best to support the pandemic response efforts. We pray for the health and safety of everyone.
— Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) (@MACNational) April 27, 2021
Our understanding is that almost everyone who went through the submission to the end with complete accurate information will receive an appointment or will be contacted. It is a matter of time. Wish you all safety and best health.
