Today is the 29th of Ramadhān. Everyone is asked to try and sight the new moon in accordance with the Sunnah. There doesn't seem to be any chance of sighting the new moon according to the maps. So far, all reports are negative. Since there is no possibility of sighting, Eid is expected to be on Monday. However, HCC will wait for sunset on the West Coast before making a final decision by 11 pm.

Due to negative sightings from all places, the HCC decision is that Eid Al-Fitr will be on Monday, May 2, 2022 insha’Allah. An early Eid Mubarak to everyone.

Salām, as mentioned earlier, due to no sightings, Ramadhān completes 30 days. The 1st of Shawwāl/Eid Al-Fitr 1443 is on Monday, May 2, 2022.
