Faisal Kutty

Faisal Kutty is a Law Professor who teaches on both sides of the border. This past week, he taught his Law Class at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto using Skype from Valparaiso University in Indiana, where he also teaches Law.

Faisal co-founded The Canadian Muslim Civil Liberties Association. (In one of my previous careers, I was the Executive Director of The CMCLA, while Faisal was its General Counsel.)

Kamal Al-Solaylee

Kamal Al-Solaylee is a writer, journalist and associate professor of journalism at Ryerson University.

His book, Brown: What Being Brown in the World Today Means (to Everyone), was a finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Award for Nonfiction.
