Night 23 – Laylatul Qadr – Taraweeh – Mesjid Al Sabur – 4081 Dufferin Street, North York

000 - Taraweeh - Mesjid Al Sabur - July 9 2015

The Ramadan Interfaith Dinner at York University was completed with enough time for people to reach Isha Prayers.

Initially, the intention was to Ride the Rocket Bus from YorkU to Downsview Subway Station and re-assess which Masjid Location was best.

I ended up walking north on Dufferin Street from Downsview Station to reach Mesjid Al Sabur.

Entirely appropriate as the night’s earlier Ramadan Interfaith Dinner was organized by a Turkish Organization, the Intercultural Dialogue Institute.

Mesjid Al Sabur is also Turkish.

These two young boys made use of a bottle of water by playing catch with it.

004 - Taraweeh - Mesjid Al Sabur - July 9 2015

The night concludes according to Turkish custom with a rolling circle of handshaking and greetings so as everyone present greets everyone else at least once.
